Biography

pezite was formed in the summer of 2007 by vocalist ナオミ (Naomi) and sax-player コバヤシジュンイチ (Kobayashi Jun'ichi). Naomi wanted to try some other genres beside her other band (The Spade13) that primarily played rock. With pezite she wanted to add a jazz-sound to her vocals and by 2008 the duo formed a complete band, with a total of 5 members. Early 2009 the band released their first album 「アダムスキー」 (Adamski).

Early 2009, naomi wanted to pursue another one of her dreams. She wanted to release a solo-album as a pop-artist, and as ナオミーポコ (naomi-poco) she released one album in March of that year. pezite was put on a short hiatus while she was touring to promote her album. At the start of 2012 the band started activities again, and slowly worked on a new album. It wasn't in their original line-up however, as their bass-player シライシシュウ (Shuu Shiraishi) left the band in January 2012. It was not untill May of that year he got replaced by Two years after their first album, the band released their second album, 「トゥミィラ」 (Tumira). It turned out to be their last as the band decided to break up in July that year.
